UPDATE: Happy Halloween everyone!  We got several great entires for the art jam, thank you all for your participation. There's still time to submit for the jam, I'd allow until friday of this week.
Hey you guys, it's been quite a long while since the last journal has it? Well I thought, since October's around the corner, why not start a Halloween themed art jam?
The theme of course is about Ahsoka dressed up for Halloween, which can be done as a drawing, a fanfic, or whatever other visual medium you can come up, even photography since I recently had added new folders for specific stuff like photos, memes and whatnot.
Remember, this is a jam, not a contest, it's supposed to be a for fun activity that will take the whole month to work on, and you are allowed to make several entries if you wish to.
All entries must be sent specifically to the new folder titled "Halloween art jam 2016"  As they are sent and approved I will be posting them to this journal too.

The sun was setting on Planet Drachenwald, and though festivities would go well into the night, it was time for the Republic troops and their Jedi to return to the ship and to their duties.
Barriss and Ahsoka lingered for a moment, eating a soft candy from a stick.  The blue and green candy substance melted in their mouths and they gave a small giggle while Captain Rex manuevered the troops back to their shuttles.  The day had gone without incident, which pleased the Jedi and annoyed Rex.  The Captain sighed as he was ready to just admit that the large, city sized amusement park was just as it seemed.  No dangers ever came about as the troops enjoyed a small vacation filled with rides, meeting young women civilians to flirt with, and plenty of snacks to indulge upon.
But the sinister plots Rex hunted for were not in the Amusement park, but underneath.
The long winding tunnels were of Geonosian make, and ArchDuke Poggle the lesser was de

Downfall of Ahsoka Tano: Part 4“Again.”Ahsoka heard the female voice cry out. Her eyes flinched underneath the sting of the command. Ahsoka wasn’t unfamiliar with failure, but this took it to a whole new level. The task was simple. She was to lift the rock onto the perimeter of the new makeshift camp. It should have been next to trivial for her. Her mind flashed back to when she was at the Jedi Temple. “Ahsoka, you must focus. Breathe in, breathe out. Feel the force around you, move through you. Now, gather the force around the rock and lift it.” The voice of Plo Koon guided her back then. The rock, back then, was no more than the size of her hand. She was just beginning to learn about the force and what it meant to her. Granted, the rock in front of her was 1,000 times bigger than that initial rock. “You must not get angry, Ahsoka. This will come to you in time.” Plo Koon said to her, his caring eyes somehow piercing through her soul, seeing the residual anger starting to build up. “But Master, the other kids in the class have already moved on. They’re already practicing with the training sabers. Why do I have to be in here trying to float a stupid rock?” Ahsoka complained. “For each person, each of us is on a journey. We don’t know where each path will lead or be carried out. They are on their path, while you are on yours. Comparison will do you no good.” Plo Koon said, his hand on her shoulder comforting. “I can’t do it.” Ahsoka said, both out loud and in her mind, back in the memory. Her eyes slowly opened. The rock remained there, unmoved. “You can't do what?” The female voice reprimanded. Ahsoka breathed in. “I can’t move the rock…mistress.” Ahsoka said, her voice defeated. Ahsoka could feel Elena smile at that admission. “That will be all for that task today. Come along and put the collar back on.” Elena’s voice said. She slowly got up from her cross legged position. The rock remained unmoved. She slowly walked over to the table where she had last left her collar. She slowly reached down and attached it back on. “Come with me, Ahsoka.” Elena said. Her voice was one of teaching. She often heard the same tone from Anakin Skywalker, when she was his apprentice. She followed Elena into an empty tent. “Your emotions are unbalanced. Tell me, what were you thinking about during the exercise today?” Elena demanded. “I was…thinking about my former life, Mistress.” Ahsoka said, choosing her words wisely. She didn’t want to give away just how much she was still clinging on to the jedi way, despite all their misgivings. “A part of you still yearns for the Jedi ways. Is this true?” She stood there silent, trying to think of how to phrase the words. “Yes, I know the Jedi were wrong to betray me. They stripped me of my rank. Expelled me from the order. I want to forget about them, but I can’t. Everything I have known about the force has come from them. I can’t just unlearn it.” Ahsoka said, her lesser judgment getting the better of her. She looked up and saw Elena staring at her hard. “Take off your collar Slave Tano.” Elena said. Ahsoka did so, half expecting a shock to come to her and for this to become some kind of metaphor for the state she chose to stay in. The shock never came. Instead, when she looked up at Elena, she saw her lightsabers, one in each hand. She had to fight to not use the force to call them to herself. She looked up at Elena quizzically. “You are a being in denial. You have the path of freedom open before you, and yet you still choose to stay in the unlocked cage. You refuse to open the door.” Ahsoka continued to listen. “There is a ship waiting in the yard. Make it past me and to the ship, we will let you go. You can go back to the Jedi Order, if that is what you wish. You can become a powerful freelancer taking on different jobs. It makes no difference to me what you choose to do if you escape.” Ahsoka stood there, as silent as she could be. Ahsoka could feel her very soul being exposed in that very moment. “Or you can stay, learn the way of Coven and know freedom that you never knew before. You will either leave or stay. There is no more staying in the middle. Now choose.” Elena said, with a voice that was hard as iron. Ahsoka looked at the lightsabers before her. Her choice was already made for her. With practiced ease, the lightsabers flew across the room. The empty tent illuminated green with the hiss of lightsabers being activated. Relief flooded her body. Without even realizing it, she had bent her knees slightly, as if bouncing slightly before springing off the ground. The reverse grip felt amazing to her. An eerie green glow filled the tent. Not quite like her green, but lighter, more sinister. Elena held the eerie green lightsaber in her hand, her shoulders relaxed. The green was outlined in a weird black taint. “Make your choice, Ahsoka Tano.” Her body sprinted forward before she was consciously aware of it. She brought one lightsaber high then the other low, hoping to get past Elena in a quick motion and get outside to the ship. She felt each attack get effortlessly blocked, as if she was going in slow motion. She felt the force grip around her and she suddenly tasted dirt in her mouth as she landed. “It’s going to take more than a few swings to get past me, girl.” Ahsoka heard Elena say with practical venom as she said girl. Ahsoka gritted her teeth and pushed herself up onto her elbows. “I am…going to get out of here.” Ahsoka said through gritted teeth. Before waiting to hear a response, she charged forward, a yell rising in her chest. Her blows were easily deflected. She tried to come in with a jump, in order to boost her momentum. Her two strikes were easily swatted away. She suddenly had to bring up both lightsabers to block the incoming strike. She felt the ground crumple slightly with the weight of the force behind that blow. She barely rolled it off the side before the blade hit the ground. She made a mad dash for the tent opening. She was quickly finding out how much she was outmatched here. She had gone against the likes of General Grievous and Count Dooku and neither of them struck this hard or fast and in such coordination within the force. She reckoned that even Skyguy would have a hard time with this opponent. She made it about 5 feet from the opening before she felt the force grip her and pull her back. She half expected to feel the taste of dirt again, but instead she floated in the air, her arms pinned by the force. She was rotated to face her captor. “Ahsoka Tano, if you are ever going to learn anything from the Coven, you must first unlearn the past. The Jedi are an old and dying species. Their time in the spotlight is coming quickly to an end. These…” Ahsoka felt the lightsabers go from her hands. She saw them floating in front of her. She wanted to desperately call them back, to assure herself that she was still a Jedi. “Are a relic of the past. They have no place in your future.” Ahsoka felt a scream rise up in her as the eerie green blade slash against her hilts, destroying the lightsabers and the kyber crystals that were housed within. She felt the connection to them fade from within the force. “The first step one must take when coming into the Coven is to be broken. I have been patient over the past week in my education of you. You are being far too stubborn. I have seen the looks within your eyes. The fire of defiance. The sly looks of calculating escape. Some of that has eroded, yes, but not all of it. Now, Ahsoka Tano, do you yield? Do you choose to join the Coven willfully?” Elena said, bringing her lightsaber right next to her neck. Anger rose up within Ahsoka. So primal, so instinctive. She wasn’t a slave. The Jedi Order, despite their ever apparent flaws, were trying to keep the peace and stop this war from spreading. More importantly, she was tired. Tired of all the lies and deception. Tired of being on this stupid planet trying to move a stupid boulder. She has had enough. She felt the force welling up around her, moving through her. For the first time ever, she dove into the force with emotion. Her anger swelled up within her, along with the force. “I…have…HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!!!!” Ahsoka yelled and pushed against Elena with all her might. The force grip loosened around her and she felt herself fall to the ground. She landed gracefully, her hands supporting her body to either side. “I am tired of…not being powerful enough.” Her proclamation hung in the air. “I am tired of events playing around me without any sort of control.” The death of Letta Turmond. Her escape from the Jedi Temple. Being on this planet and unable to do anything to get off or escape it. She felt every emotion, willed every emotion that had been bottled up. The Jedi taught that emotions were bad, attachments were forbidden, that one had to be strong all the time and weren’t allowed to question and that the council knew best. She was trying to be strong, not just for them, but for herself too. She fell to her knees, her body suddenly tired. “I am tired of being a Jedi.” She heard herself say those words. She didn’t realize it until now, where she was at the end of her rope. Her bravado, her consistently trying to find a way to escape, her lack of readiness to accept the Coven’s teaching, it was all one thing. She was still trying to be a Jedi. She looked over at Elena. She had withdrawn her lightsaber and was back to her belt. A placid smile came over her. She got up and walked over to where Ahsoka’s collar was and picked it up. Ahsoka didn’t even try to protest as she picked it up. Elena walked over to her and Ahsoka heard the click of the collar coming back on. Her eyes focused on nothing ahead, the tiredness she felt making it impossible to do so. “Welcome Ahsoka Tano. You have taken your first steps into the Coven.”...
Downfall of Ahsoka Tano: Part 3 (Corruption)Ahsoka was immediately struck with a sense of familiarity as she entered the tent. People moved about to accomplish this task or that task. She saw Corian off slightly to the side, talking to another attendant who had a slave collar, just like her. Not seeing another move to make, she moved forward towards Corian. She didn’t manage to catch any of the conversation being said before Corian caught her from the side. “Ah, Ahsoka, I see you made your decision. I’m so very happy you could join us. This is Sister Elena. She will be in charge of your training here within the Coven. Be sure she becomes familized with the rules. We would not want to dish out any…unnecessary consequences, would we?” Corian asked. “Of..of..of course Mistress. I will see her becoming part of the Coven.” Elena stammered. “I expect you will train her to the best of your abilities. Now, tend to your slave.” Corian said as she dropped the controller for her shock collar into Elena's hands. She was then turned away, being ushered on to talk about a potential weakness within the camp, from the little she could gather as she walked away. Ahsoka then took a moment to examine this girl before her, her new ‘Mistress’ or person in charge of her training. She was a Twi'lek and looked to be no older than 19 in her estimation. Her collar had been somehow modified, maybe to show a different rank within the Coven. Ahsoka couldn’t help but notice her beautiful blue eyes as she turned and faced her. “What is your name?” Elena asked. Her eyes went up and down her body and was definitely checking her out. Ahsoka noticed her eyes seemed to end on her rather unimpressive boobs. “Ahsoka Tano. What is your name?” She said, flinching afterwards, half expecting a shock for her asking a question. She was surprised when none came. “I see you learn quickly. This will be interesting as you will be my first.” Elena said, her eyes still evaluatuting the slave before her. “First what?” Ahsoka asked. “First slave that I break in. Now, if you would please, follow me.” Elena said and then began to walk past Ahsoka and out into the open. Seeing no other option, she did so. Elena stood outside the tent, waiting for her to emerge. “As you can already see, the Coven is a place of its own rules and guidelines. You were once a Jedi, yes?” “Yes, I was…until they expelled me.” Ahsoka answered, still not sure how to take all of this in. “Can you use what they call the force?” Elena asked. “Yes.” Ahsoka said. Elena looked over at a nearby boulder that was 300 pounds at least.“I want you to move that rock over to the front of the camp to help make it more defensivable.” Elena said. Ahsoka saw the boulder and it looked way too heavy to her to lift, but she knew the consequence would be if she didn’t try, her hand slightly touching the collar. She closed her eyes and focused. She felt out within the force for the boulder. She then focuses on lifting it up, as one would lift a puppet. What made this different from a puppet is that the boulder naturally resisted her pull and where she wanted it to go. She thought about her Jedi training and suddenly the rock dropped from about 2 inches in the air. “You are confused. Your connection to the force is weakened. You are unsure.” Elena said. She then called over a worker, letting them know not to move this boulder as they prepared for camp. Sister Ahsoka was going to move it by the end of the week or they will all pay the price for her lack of strength. “Come with me, I believe I should explain our traditions, yes?”Ahsoka, feeling the pressure, nodded and followed along. …“May I ask a question?” Ahsoka asked. “You may.” Elena answered. “How long have you been in the Coven?” Elena turned and pondered her before answering the question. “Since I was 15. The coven found me after my family was brutally murder in a gang world on Corellia.”“You can’t be more than 19 years old. Have you really been here for 4 years and are still a slave?” “Having a collar doesn’t not indicate one position. I wear mine as a reminder of what I have lost and more importantly, what I have gained. Now, come and sit.” They entered a new tent and Ahsoka sat. "Tell me, what is your opinion on the force? Is it good or evil?" Elena asked. “We are taught that there are two sides of the force. One side is the light. We focus on helping others, being centered within ourselves, being peacekeepers of society.” Ahsoka said. “And of the dark?” Elena asked. “The dark side…is evil. We are taught to avoid it. It desires things that no one person should have. Power, lust, control, anger, fear. We are taught to avoid such emotions as Jedi.” Ahsoka elaborated. Her mind flashed back to when she had succumbed to the dark side within when she had been on the planet Mortis. She had given into every negative thought she ever thought but kept suppressed. It took the Avatar of the light side of the force to restore her. “Were the Jedi right in expelling you?” Elena asked, probing her even further.“NO!!! I didn’t kill anyone. I was set up!!! You have to believe me. If I could, I would go back and save Letta Tourmand. You have to believe me.” “My, my, for one in such an esteemed order, you really are passionate.” Elena said with a soft chuckle. “You already see some of the errors of the Jedi ways. They talk about peace, but they have driven the war even further. They talk about knowledge but are unwilling to seek it out. They talk about serenity, but are generals within a war. They talk about harmony, but are void of emotions. They talk about the force but don’t know what it really is. What they preach sounds good, but in practice, it leaves one unsatisfied, unable to experience all life has to offer. Would you agree, Ahsoka Tano?” Ahsoka felt herself tense up at that moment. She knew what was going on here, from a logical place. They were trying to get her to compromise on one edict of the Jedi Order, to admit that there was a flaw. Then, they would use that to break the foundation. She knew that. She tried to find an argument, a line of reason to combat what this girl was telling her. The problem was…she couldn’t.She had seen what the Jedi were up close and personal. They didn’t try to gain the knowledge of what really happened. The war, ever since the Jedi had gotten involved, had escalated. They had been dedicated keepers of the peace, but she had seen countless people die, both in clone troopers and civilians alike. The dark side clouded all their visions. She had seen what the Jedi Order had morphed into. It had abandoned its edicts that it was based on so long ago. She knew the Jedi code and Elena had dismantled each one with a simple sentence. She wanted to believe in what the Jedi stood for in that moment, but…she couldn’t. Elena watched on with glee as she saw the walls going down for Ahsoka. Soon, she would be malleable to serve within the Coven.“Ahhh, I see you have been hurt by the Jedi too. The Jedi did nothing to stop the murder of my family, nor did they do anything to stop your expulsion of the Jedi Order. The Coven isn’t like that.” Ahsoka looked at her, her eyes wide. She felt like this person was reading her thoughts like a book. “The feeling of hurt, anger, passion, is not so unfamiliar to one who has experienced those same feelings.” Elena explained. “I once was like you. I was young and naive. I believe that if I gave into my hate, my feelings, that they would somehow be justified and when I had gotten my revenge, all would be settled. Nothing could have been further from the truth.” “The Coven took me in, trained me as I will train you. I have learned balance. I will give you balance too, if you will listen to me. I will strip you of your jedi ways. I know you will be resistant at first. Who wouldn’t be when that is all you have heard for your entire life? Believe me, when I say, what I offer is so much better than what you have experienced.” She held out her hand, beckoning for Ahsoka to take it. “Will you abandon the Jedi ways and learn the ways of the Coven? Will you allow me to set you free?” Ahsoka knew that this was her true decision point. She was told by Corian that if she entered that tent, she would choose to take her first steps to be part of the Coven. If she stayed outside, she would remain a slave forever. The arguments made sense to her. The Jedi had always tried to hold her back. How many times did Master Anakin or Master Obi wan tell her not to do something and she knew in her heart that she needed to do it. How many times did she regret not making a certain choice and having others suffer because of it? She reached out and took the hand. She was tired of being held back. She would be set free.Elena helped her stand up. “What will I call you, as you are my new teacher now?” Ahsoka asked. She had been hurt by the Jedi, that much was clear. She would give this Coven a shot. She didn’t have anything better to do. She supposed that she could try to cling on to what the Jedi had taught her, but where would that get her? Nowhere. Or she could give this Coven a shot and learn what she could. If anything, an opportunity may arise for her to escape. Her mind flashed back to when she reached out in the force and tried to sense Corian. She was balanced in both the light and dark, and was immensely powerful. To learn from someone that verse in the force was a rare opportunity indeed and she would be foolish to not at least listen to what Corian had to say. Elena smiled as she looked Ahsoka in the eyes and smiled. “You may call me Mistress.”...
